STORY OF MY LIFE
My name is Zhyed Bugtong, I’m sixteen years old and a proud student of TSAT. Let me tell you about my story and my beautiful hometown, Bila, Bauko, Mt. Province.I grew up in Bila, a place surrounded by green mountains, fresh air, and rice terraces that shine like gold when the sun rises. Every morning, when I walk to school, I can hear the birds singing and feel the cool breeze from the pine trees. It’s so peaceful that sometimes I stop for a moment just to take it all in.Our community is simple, but the people are kind and hardworking. After school, I help my family in the fields—planting, watering, or feeding the animals. Life here may not be as modern as in the city, but it’s full of lessons about respect, patience, and unity. On weekends, I go with my friends to hike the hills around Bila. From the top, I can see the wide valleys and the mountains that seem to touch the sky. It makes me proud to belong to a place so beautiful, and it reminds me to dream big while staying humble.I may still be young, but I carry a promise in my heart: to study hard, finish school, and one day give back to my hometown. Because no matter where I go, I will always be Zhyed Bugtong of Bila, Bauko—where my roots, my family, and my heart will always be.
