My Intramural 2025 Experience

The 2025 Intramurals was a memorable event that began with a parade, prayer, and important announcements, followed by a lively cheering competition where Team Banna surprisingly got the 3rd place. The games officially started afterward, and I headed to Tadian Elementary School for the badminton match in Singles A, where I was competed against Lam-ang in the first match and won the first and second round. Since my next game was scheduled at 1:00 PM, I decided to leave for a while and went to TSAT quadrangle to watch the Volleyball Boys match. I was truly amazed at how they play, especially the way they received the ball with so much energy and teamwork. My friends and I had our lunch before the afternoon game, I went back to TES to get ready for the second match between me and the Team Anno. I gave my best and played with effort, but sadly I lost the game. Even though I felt a little disappointed, I still accepted the result for I know that at least I gave my all and that’s enough. I returned again to the quadrangle to watch another volleyball match since I didn’t get the chance to watch the volleyball game of my own team at 1:00. Even if I lost earlier, the excitement of the games around me made the day still fun and memorable.

On the second day of intramurals, even though I no longer had a game to play because the game was only a single elimination, I still chose to go to school to support my team in their matches. I was really proud watching them because they all played so well, and I could honestly say they looked like already trained athletes with the way they perform. I cheered for them nonstop until their very last game in the morning. I knew that there were still more games in the afternoon, yet I still decided to go home early to get some rest since my body was still aching from the badminton match I had previous day. Despite that, I truly enjoyed the experience, and this intramurals gave me so many memories and lessons that I will always carry with me.
