My Intrams Experience 2025

This year’s Intramurals at Tadian Arts of School and Trades was truly unforgettable. From the colorful opening parade to the awarding ceremony, the excitement never stopped. As a Grade 11 STEM student, I wasn’t just a spectator I was also a proud participant.

Cheering was one of the best and most unforgettable parts of this year’s Intramurals. During the practice, it wasn’t easy at first, we didn’t understand each other. There were pasaway moments, a lot of scolding, and even times when our voices went hoarse from shouting too much, but in the end, we remained teammates and supported one another (TEAM WIGAN MALAKAS DI MAGIBA!). That experience taught me that Intrams isn’t just about sports, it’s also about building unity, learning patience, and lifting each other up no matter what.

I joined the volleyball games, and honestly, I was nervous at first since our opponents looked really strong. To make things more intense, our team was placed on standby we had to wait for all the other teams to finish their matches before we could play, because the schedule overflowed, our game didn’t start right away, by the time it was finally our turn, Friday had already turned into Saturday. Imagine the stress of waiting that long, plus I had a headache that day, but in a way, it worked out, because at least I had time to rest before stepping onto the court.

When we finally played, we gave it our all. Our match against Team Anno was tough, but with teamwork and focus, we managed to win and secure a spot in the championship. That moment felt surreal, suddenly all the waiting, exhaustion, and anxiety were replaced by happiness and excitement.

Then came the real challenge the championship. Our game started around noon, right after the men’s volleyball finals. We were already tired and nervous, especially knowing that our opponents were the undefeated team of the tournament. To make things harder, we didn’t have many substitutes, we were only eight players listed for volleyball. Earlier that morning, we had already played against Team Anno around 9 AM, so we were drained, and exhausted by the time the championship came. Thankfully, Sir Yuri brought biscuits and water to keep us going, so at least we didn’t get too hungry. Honestly, it was nerve-wracking I even thought eating noodles would have been less stressful than playing at that moment 😅. Still, we fought hard, but in the end, we lost. Even so, I realized that the championship wasn’t just about the trophy, it was about the journey, the teamwork, and the memories we built along the way.

Through this Intrams, I learned the true meaning of sportsmanship, patience, and teamwork. Winning or losing didn’t matter much in the end, because what truly stayed were the friendships, the laughter, and the bond we shared as one.

Overall, this year’s Intramurals became one of the best highlights of my senior high school journey. I’ll never forget the fun, the thrill, and the unity we felt that week. Truly, it was a week of sweat, fun, and friendship that I will always treasure, and of course, I want to thank all our teachers who supported and guided us. Without their effort and encouragement, this year’s Intramurals wouldn’t have been as successful and memorable as it was.
