2025 INTRAMURALS EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to an unfamiliar character, Lam-ang.

It was once an epic hero, but now a memory I know I’ll always go back to.

During preparation, our team experienced difficulties and even felt lost during practice testing our strength as one. We are guided through the help of our teachers and leaders. I remember one time during practice, a teacher said “Even if we don’t win, as long as we are disciplined.” A phrase that kept me reminded of what I picked up from their teaching, to always choose Discipline over Greed.

On the day of the intramurals, teams fought heat first thing in the morning as they participated in the parade. Soon starts the program, each and every student was washed over with excitement. Including I was excited to witness the anticipated event besides feeling nervous.

In announcing of winners, the tension that we felt soon turned into a feeling of doubt. Until.. We won the championship.💛

The sports event followed up highlighting the sportsmanship of every team in competing for diverse events athletes signed up for. As to show support, we cheered for them.

Looking back, I realized it wasn’t the medals or the cheers that made it unforgettable, but the bond we built and the lessons we carried. That is the true victory I’ll always keep in my heart.
