2025 INTRAMURAL EXPERIENCE
Participating in the 2025 intramural sepak takraw event was a truly memorable and meaningful experience for me. At first, I was both nervous and excited, knowing that sepak takraw is a challenging sport that requires flexibility, coordination, and teamwork. It was not just about using strength, but also about mastering control, timing, and quick reflexes. During our practices, I learned that communication and trust among teammates were very important, because one mistake could cost us a point, while one good setup could lead to a winning spike. The game tested not only my physical ability but also my mental focus and discipline.
When the competition began, I felt a rush of adrenaline as the crowd cheered and the ball flew back and forth across the net. Each rally pushed me to give my best effort, and even when we made mistakes, we encouraged each other to keep going. There were moments of pressure, especially when the scores were close, but those situations taught me resilience and sportsmanship. What made the experience even more special was the sense of unity with my teammates—we supported one another whether we won or lost.
Beyond the competition, the intramural experience allowed me to connect with other students, build friendships, and appreciate the spirit of camaraderie in sports. I realized that intramurals are not just about winning medals or recognition, but about learning new skills, improving oneself, and enjoying the journey together. Overall, playing sepak takraw in the 2025 intramurals was both a fun and valuable experience that taught me lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship—lessons I will carry with me beyond the game.
