My Experience in Intramurals 2025
Intramurals 2025 was one of the most anticipated events in our school, filled with excitement, competition, and unity among students. Sadly, I was not able to participate this year because I got sick during the event. While everyone else was busy preparing for games and cheering for their teams, I had to stay at home and rest. It was a bit disappointing because I missed the energy, the bonding, and the chance to show support to my classmates in person.Even though I am not into sports, what I usually look forward to in intramurals is the cheering or yell competition. That is where I feel most involved since it highlights teamwork, creativity, and school spirit.
Before I got sick, I was able to join our practices for the yell. I still remember how fun and challenging it was to memorize the steps, match the rhythm, and keep our voices strong. At times it was tiring, but it was also fulfilling because I could feel the unity in our team. Everyone contributed their own energy and ideas, and it made me proud to be part of the preparation.
Unfortunately, when the day of the intramurals came, I was unable to join our actual performance. It was frustrating because I had practiced with my classmates and was excited to see how all our efforts would pay off. I could only imagine how lively it must have been—the loud cheers, the colorful performances, and the overwhelming support from the students watching.
But if I were to experience it, I think intramurals would be a chance to learn more about unity and camaraderie. Even if I don’t play sports, cheering is my way of contributing to the event, and it would have been fulfilling to shout and cheer for my team, giving them encouragement on the field. I imagine the thrill of the crowd, the joy of performing with my classmates, and the pride of showing our teamwork would make the event truly unforgettable. In the end, my experience of Intramurals 2025 was different from what I expected.
Instead of physically joining, I had to watch from a distance and rely on my classmates’ stories. Although it was unfortunate, it also made me realize how special the event truly is. Next time, I hope to be well and fully present—not necessarily to play sports, but to give my voice, my support, and my spirit to my team.
