Buguias, Benguet is a municipality in the Cordillera Administrative Region, known for its breathtaking scenery and rich cultural heritage. It’s often referred to as the “Vegetable Panorama of the Philippines” due to its lush highland vegetable farms, producing top-quality crops like carrots. The town’s economy thrives on agriculture, with many residents relying on farming and trading vegetables at the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post. Buguias is also home to the revered Apo Anno, a folk hero and spiritual leader whose mummified body is preserved in a cave.The town boasts stunning natural beauty, with rolling hills of green and vast expanses of vegetable farms. Visitors can explore the historic Veteran Memorial Marker, which commemorates the liberation of Abatan and Buguias from Japanese forces on July 27, 1945.
