Our Real Victory

Our intramurals journey started off tough. During our practices, we were placed in an open area with no shade, so we had to face the sun for hours. We ended up getting sunburned even before the actual event started!

After days of practicing, we watched other teams during our final rehearsal. Their cheers and performances were really impressive, and honestly, we already felt like we were going to lose. But when it was finally our turn to practice, something clicked. Our team suddenly performed with so much energy—it felt like we became powerful. That gave us hope again, so we pushed through and worked hard on our props.

On parade day, we gave our all—shouting our yells and showing our exhibitions. We were the first to perform but, unfortunately, we ended up in last place. Hahaha! We expected it a bit since we made a lot of mistakes, but we stayed positive.

We focused on bouncing back through the sports events. I joined volleyball and basketball, and I’m happy to say our volleyball team made it to 3rd place!

But honestly, the real victory for us wasn’t about rankings or medals—it was the journey we went through and the friendships we built along the way. All the laughs, struggles, and memories made it truly worth it.

The overall results aren’t out yet since the games are still ongoing, but no matter what, I’m proud of our team.
