Bauko is a municipality in Mountain Province, found in the Cordillera region of the Philippines. It is known for its cool climate, rice terraces, and mountainous landscapes that highlight the natural beauty of the area. Most of its people belong to the Kankanaey tribe, who preserve their rich culture, traditions, and community values. Farming, especially rice and vegetable production, is the main source of livelihood for many residents. Aside from its agriculture, Bauko also offers cultural festivals and natural attractions like Mt. Polis, making it a place where tradition and nature come together beautifully.
