My HometownBy: Diana MosadaI am Diana Mosada from Bauko, Mayag. In our place, you can visit the beautiful Tey-ak Falls and enjoy the breathtaking view of Mount Mugaw. These natural wonders make our hometown truly special and worth visiting.One of the things that make our community unique is the spirit of “bayanihan”—people helping one another, especially during difficult times.

We also have the Red Cross that actively supports those affected by disasters like fires and other calamities. The cooperation among the three barangays in our area ensures that help reaches those in need.Many people here still work on farms and tend to their gardens. Through farming and gardening, they are able to sell their produce and earn money to buy other ingredients and necessities for their families.

There are many tourist spots to explore in our hometown. Aside from Tey-ak Falls, you can visit Lanas Lake, and of course, enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Mugaw.Bauko, Mayag is not just rich in natural beauty, but also in culture, unity, and the kindness of its people. It is a place I am proud to call home.
